Matthew Costinett

Matt was born in Maryland and after graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Geology in 1993, worked as a research assistant and analyst for a Washington, D.C.-area energy and environmental consulting firm. During his five-years with the firm, Matt worked on numerous government and industry-sponsored energy studies and advised clients regarding various oil and natural gas supply issues.
In 1999, Matt relocated to Denver to attend the University of Denver College of Law. While in law school, Matt served as a staff member on the University of Denver Water Law Review and received Awards for Scholastic Excellence in his Administrative Law, Wills Trusts & Estates, and Oil & Gas Law classes. After receiving his law degree in 2002, Matt worked for a local civil litigation firm, handling a variety of cases and defending individuals and entities in personal injury, general liability, and construction defect matters.
Matt joined Carleton Law Firm in 2008.
